On November 3, 1988, the name of the Company was changed to Nathpa Jhakri Power Corporation Limited
On September 17, 2002, the name was again changed from Nathpa Jhakri Power Corporation Limited to Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited and further to SJVN Limited on September 10, 2009
The company was established as a joint venture between the Government of India and the State Government of Himachal Pradesh to plan, investigate, organize, execute, operate and maintain hydroelectric power projects
At present, Company is engaged in providing

SJVN Limited is a hydroelectric power generation company
The Company is the largest operational hydroelectric power generation facility in India based on installed capacity, with an aggregate generation capacity of 1972 MW

Final Dividend (₹0.31)

Recommended a final dividend of 0.31/- per equity share for the financial year 2024- 25 subject to the approval of shareholders in the ensuing Annual General Meeting. The final dividend is in addition to the interim dividend of 1.15/- per equity share declared in the month of February 2025, for the Financial Year 2024-25, and will be paid within the statutory period as prescribed in the Companies Act, 2013.

In compliance with the SEBI Listing Regulations, it is hereby informed that the Board in its Meeting held today has approved interim dividend of RS.1.15 per share. Further in terms of Regulation 30 and Regulation 42 of the SEBI Listing Regulations, we would like to inform that the Board of Directors in the aforesaid meeting have also approved interim dividend of 1.15/- per equity share for the Financial Year 2024-25. The Record Date for the same is fixed on 21.02.2025. The payment of dividend shall start from 06.03.2025 onwards Dividend Payment Date : 13.03.2025 (As Per BSE Bulletin Dated on 13.01.2025)

The final dividend is in addition to the interim dividend of 1.15/- per equity share for the Financial Year 2022-23 declared in the month of February, 2023 and will be paid within the statutory period as per the Companies Act, 2013.
